Laser Procedures
This laser procedure stimulates the angle of the eye to help reduce intraocular pressure by removing debris from the outflow channel. Studies show that it is effective as a first line treatment for glaucoma.
This laser procedure is commonly used after a patient develops a secondary cataract after cataract surgery. It uses laser energy to break the cloudiness up so the patient can see much more clear. This procedure typically takes only 2 to 3 minutes!
This laser procedure is used for patients with narrow angle glaucoma and acute angle closure glaucoma. A small hole is placed in the iris typically in the upper iris to help with outflow.
